Why the Name of "Brother Wolf and Friends"

KATHY ANN GRIMES and BROTHER WOLF and FRIENDS

In 2001, Kathy started Brother Wolf and Friends. Her dream has always been to have a houseboat on the Minnesota northern lakes and write children's books.

For 25 years, she has worked in the education field.

She has taught children of all ages, and directed programs for both children and adults.

Like many people, animals have been important in her life. She has spent time being a human companion to dogs, cats, birds and fish. Presently, Kathy has a dog and a rabbit.

In 1987, she led the project to create an annual blessing of pets and farm animals.

One of the spiritual messages that motivates her is "Do not die with your music still in you!"

Brother Wolf and Friends is Kathy's way of letting her music out...

Today her music leads her to be a Healing Touch Practitioner, Animal Communicator, Animal Communication Teacher, Speaker, and Author.

HEALING TOUCH FOR ANIMALS® PRACTITIONER

In 1987, Kathy went to her first conference on the Power of Laughter and Healing in Saratoga Springs, New York.

In 1995 White Eagle challenged her to use her healing techniques from Sacred Healing on both wild animals and domestic.

Since then she has taken classes in Sacred Touch, the Touch of Healing, Being a Healing Practitioner, Healing Touch for Animals®, Quantum- Touch®, Dowsing, Chakra Empowerment, HearMath Connection, First Aid for Animals and Death and Dying of Animals.

Kathy is a Healing Touch for Animals® Practitioner, having studied with Carol Komitor the founder.

Another one of her healing mentors especially for horses is Lynn Davis founder of Best Intentions Shawnee, Oklahoma.

In Minnesota, Alice Hess has opened Kathy's mind to new possibilities with her knowledge of Quantum Touch.

Her Energy Therapy Sessions can be used in complementary conjunction with traditional therapies or as a stand-alone treatment.

ANIMAL COMMUNICATOR

In 1990 Kathleen Grimes began communicating with her own dog Pepper .

Since then she has studied with Morning Star, Toni Ferdelman, Carol Gurney, and White Eagle.

She has designed a program called Soundless Communication which introduces basic telepathic communication.

ANIMAL CHAPLAIN

In 2008 Kathy began her studies to become an Animal Chaplain.

As an Animal Chaplain, she does Memorial Services for her clients, helps those left with the grieving process, and helps welcoming animals into their new homes.

WHY THE NAME OF "BROTHER WOLF AND FRIENDS"

For years Kathy has been attracted to Francis of Assisi. His poem Canticle of the Sun and the Peace Prayer that has been attributed to him have become a cornerstone of her spirituality.

As she prepared to start her business, the story of Francis and the wolf of Gubbio would not leave her.

The name Brother Wolf and Friends came to her and seemed very fitting for her mission.
