MEDITATION FOR THE ANIMALS OF THE WORLD

We invite you to take some time to just rest in the presence
of the great and awesome source of Love,
to bless, to honor and to give thanks
for the animals of the world.

A possible way to do a meditation for the animals of the world:
• Setting the mood
o Choose a place where you will not be disturbed
o Wear clothes that are not too tight
o You can sit, or stand, or walk (make sure that you are
                 comfortable)
o You might want to have some instrumental music on as
                 background music
                        Here are some examples:
                         • A Walk in Peace by Bradley Kirkpatrick
                            http://bradleykirkpatrick.com
                        • Faith in the Saddle by Thomas Haddox
                           http://haddoxthomas.com
                        • Nube by Nicolas Carter http://nicolascarter.com
                        • One in Spirit by Jesse Kalu
                           http://firendsoffreedom.com/Friends/Jesse_kalu/Jesse.html
o You might want to burn a candle
o You might want to burn incense
o Do not be surprise if your pet comes and sit with near you
o You could have a picture of a favorite animal
• Set an intention such as
o I intend to send love to all the animals of the world
o I intend to send love to all zebra
• If you have music on begin listening to the music
• Begin to watch, feel and listen to your breathing
• Feel your body sitting, standing
• Take 3 slow breathes
• You might want to close your eyes or focus on the burning candle
• Acknowledge God (by whatever name you call God)
• Focus on your heart
• See your heart as beautiful emerald green
• Think about a time you have been loved and as you do see the emerald
green light in and around your heart grow in size and becomes
   brighter
• Think about a time when you have showed loved and as you do this
see the emerald green light in and around your heart grow in size and
   see it begin to sparkle
• Acknowledge how good you feel
• You might even be smiling that is okay
• Cup your hands and face them towards you
• Picture in your hands, that you are holding some animals of your
   choice
• Spend some time giving thanks for them and what they do for us
• Tell them that you love animals and that you send them all love
• You might want to see your beautiful emerald green light coming from
your heart down your arms into your hands and surrounding these
   animals
• While still holding these animals in your hands, you might want to bring
your hands up to your heart and as you are touching your heart
breathe deeply and release your breathe slowly
• Feel your heart’s love energy fill these animals with love
• Give thanks to God for creating these animals
• Know that these animals appreciate what you are doing for them
• Ask them if they have a message for you, now be open for a message
• Notice any pictures, thoughts, or feeling that you might have
• Thank them for being with you
• Allow them to leave from your mind
• Return your attention to your breathe
• Take 3 deep breath and release them slowly
• Feel your body against the chair or floor
• Continue to watch your breathing
• Slowly open your eyes
o If the room you are in is very bright you might want to cover
your eye as you begin to open them
o Return to focusing on the candle
o Return to focusing on the music that is in the back ground
• At this time some people write down their experience
• Know that your animal friends have been blessed and loved
• Remember that “Today is a day of kindness and that you can treat
   everything with love”
• When you are ready stand and go on to your next task
• Some people have a glass of water after they meditate

In the name of the animals,
I thank you for doing this meditation!
